Recently I've been redesigning and working to improve the online presence (general SEO via semantic markup, link building etc) of my; at one time, local angling clubs website. Search Northwich Anglers Association to see how it's coming along.
Any one interested in NAA will be happy to know that:
"Northwich Anglers Association is a forward thinking angling club which is open to all. We pride ourselves on taking a common sense approach to the way we manage our waters and our association for the benefit of our members, the environment and the members of the public who we share it with."
I handed this project over to somebody else (who will remain nameless) and unfortunately the whole site vanished from web but continued to be ranked well for lots of common angling and local keywords under the old .org.uk domain name. It was later re-lanuched at www.northwichanglers.co.uk and after a I joined the committee we finally managed to get the new url to replace the old url in Google's (and other search engines) index, goes to show the SEO changes I implemented in 2011 worked much better than the current version of the site but I'm looking forward to working on it ;)
